Giving and volunteering

St Alfege Church has been serving Greenwich for centuries. Today the church is known and loved for its inspiring services, beautiful music; for our welcome to visitors and our engagement in community life.

But caring for our historic building and wide-ranging work come at a price.

To be there for generations to come, we are reaching out to those who can help us today.

We have ambitious plans for our future and are determined to ensure that St Alfege Church remains at the heart of the historic centre of Greenwich.

But we can’t do it alone. We need the help of everyone who cares about the good we do and can see the potential for the future.

Your gifts of time and funds to St Alfege Church enables us to make a difference.

Please support us now, and for our future.

It costs over £7,300 a week to look after this historic place of worship and every gift makes a difference.  Find out more about making a donation.

We also rely on the skills, time and enthusiasm of members of the congregation to run services, to keep the church looking beautiful and to help the community.
